Lenovo Legion 5 15IAX11 Review – Intel Core Ultra 7 251HX Meets OLED Gaming | Byte City BD

Last Updated: July 24, 2026

Intel’s Core Ultra 7 251HX brings a new hybrid architecture to the Legion lineup, and the Lenovo Legion 5 15IAX11 is the machine showcasing it. With 18 cores (6 Performance + 12 Efficient), DDR5-6400MHz memory, and the same gorgeous 15.3-inch WQXGA OLED as its AMD siblings, this Intel-powered Legion makes a compelling case for Team Blue fans in Bangladesh.

At Byte City BD, we see this as the Intel counterpart to the popular Ryzen-based Legions — slightly different personality, same legendary build quality.

Performance — Hybrid Cores, Real Speed

The Core Ultra 7 251HX is a fascinating chip. With 6 Performance cores handling heavy lifting and 12 Efficient cores managing background tasks, it delivers excellent multi-threaded performance while keeping power draw reasonable. The 5.1 GHz max turbo ensures snappy single-threaded responsiveness — great for gaming, compiling code, and opening heavy applications.

The Intel AI Boost (13 TOPS) adds dedicated NPU acceleration for Windows Copilot, background blur in video calls, and AI-assisted creative features. It’s not the most powerful AI engine on the market, but it’s a meaningful addition for future-proofing.

The RTX 5060 8GB at up to 115W delivers the same reliable 1440p gaming we’ve come to expect:

• Esports titles: 200+ FPS on high settings.
• AAA games at 2560×1600: 60–80 FPS with DLSS and ray tracing.
• Streaming & creation: NVENC encoding and 8GB VRAM handle OBS, Premiere Pro, and Blender comfortably.

The DDR5-6400MHz RAM is notably faster than the 5600MHz found in most competitors. In bandwidth-sensitive tasks — like video editing, large Excel files, and memory-heavy games — that extra speed is genuinely noticeable.

Display — PureSight OLED Excellence

The 15.3-inch WQXGA OLED is identical to the AMD variant: 165Hz, 100% DCI-P3, G-SYNC, and 16:10 aspect ratio. It’s sharp, vibrant, and responsive — equally at home in competitive gaming sessions and color-critical design work.

The 16:10 ratio gives you extra vertical pixels that make coding, writing, and browsing feel less cramped than traditional 16:9 panels. For Bangladeshi developers and content creators, that’s productivity gold.

Design, RGB & Portability

At ~1.90 kg, this Legion is genuinely portable. The RGB backlit keyboard adds a touch of personality that the white-backlit AMD variant lacks — customizable enough for gaming setups, restrained enough for professional environments.

USB4 / 40Gbps is the headline port feature. It supports external GPU enclosures, ultra-fast storage docks, and dual 4K monitor setups. The 140W USB-C PD port means you can travel with a smaller charger for non-gaming days. The SD card reader is a genuine win for photographers and videographers who import footage regularly.

Battery & Thermals

The 80Wh battery manages 4–5 hours of light productivity. The 245W power brick handles full gaming loads, while USB-C PD covers lighter tasks. Intel’s hybrid architecture helps with battery endurance during mixed workloads — the Efficient cores sip power during background tasks. Thermally, the slim chassis runs warm under sustained gaming but stays within safe limits.
