Lenovo Legion Pro 7i Review – RTX 5090: The Absolute Best Gaming Laptop in Bangladesh

Last Updated: July 25, 2026

There are gaming laptops, and then there is the Lenovo Legion Pro 7i. This is the machine that sits at the very top of Lenovo’s 2026 lineup — the one where every spec is pushed to its absolute limit. The RTX 5090 24GB GDDR7 with 1824 AI TOPS. The Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX. A 99Wh battery with Super Rapid Charge. A 16-inch 240Hz OLED display certified by X-Rite for professional color accuracy. If the Legion Pro 7 is a sports car, the Pro 7i is the hypercar — and it carries a price tag that says so.

This laptop is not for everyone. In fact, it’s not for most people. The Pro 7i is built for Bangladeshi professionals who make money with their machines — esports athletes, 3D studio heads, AI researchers, and content creators who bill by the hour. When a single Blender render or DaVinci export can take 30 minutes on a standard laptop and 8 minutes on this one, the math starts making sense very quickly.

Performance — The RTX 5090 Changes Everything

Let’s talk about the RTX 5090 24GB GDDR7 because nothing else matters until you understand what this GPU is capable of. With 10496 CUDA Cores, a 256-bit memory bus, and 1824 AI TOPS, this is not a “faster RTX 5080.” It’s a fundamentally different class of hardware.

• AAA games at 2560×1600: 140–180 FPS on ultra settings with DLSS 4 and full ray tracing. This GPU doesn’t just play games at max settings — it laughs at them.
• 4K gaming on external monitors: 80–120 FPS on ultra. Connect this to a 4K 144Hz display and you have a legitimate desktop replacement.
• AI & machine learning: The 1824 AI TOPS handle Stable Diffusion XL, local LLMs, and neural rendering at speeds that make the RTX 5080 feel pedestrian. If you’re training models or running inference locally, this is the fastest mobile GPU on the planet.
• Professional 3D work: 24GB VRAM means you can load massive textures, complex scenes, and high-poly models without running out of memory. Unreal Engine 5, Blender, and Maya run smoothly even on cinema-grade projects.

The Core Ultra 9 275HX is the same 24-core flagship from the Pro 7, but paired with this GPU, it finally has a dance partner that can keep up. The 1TB PCIe Gen 5 SSD is another premium touch — faster than standard Gen 4 drives, meaning quicker boot times, faster game loads, and snappier file transfers.

Display — X-Rite Certified Professional Grade

The 16-inch 240Hz OLED on the Pro 7i is not just fast and beautiful — it’s X-Rite certified for factory color calibration. That means the colors are accurate out of the box, without you needing to calibrate with a colorimeter.

• 240Hz + 1ms response time = competitive-grade motion clarity.
• X-Rite Certification = professional color accuracy for photographers, video editors, and designers.
• VESA TrueBlack 1000 = incredible HDR performance with deep, inky blacks.
• TÜV Rheinland Certified = reduced eye strain during long work sessions.
• Dolby Vision + G-SYNC = stunning HDR gaming without tearing.

For Bangladeshi creative professionals who need a reference-grade monitor built into their laptop, this display is genuinely industry-standard.

Design, Keyboard & Audio

The per-key Legion Spectrum RGB keyboard is the best Lenovo puts in a gaming laptop. With 1.6mm travel, 4× switchable keycaps, and 100% anti-ghosting, it feels mechanical without the noise. You can program individual keys for macros, set game-specific profiles, or keep it clean white for boardroom presentations.

The 4-speaker Smart Amp system with Nahimic tuning is loud, clear, and surprisingly bass-heavy. For a laptop this thin, the audio quality is exceptional — you won’t miss external speakers for casual listening.

At < 2.72 kg, it’s heavy but not absurd for the performance inside. The chassis is built like a tank, with zero flex and a premium finish that justifies the flagship positioning.

Battery, Charging & Thermals

The 99Whr battery is the largest allowed on flights, and Lenovo pairs it with Super Rapid Charge — 0 to 70% in just 30 minutes, full charge in 80 minutes. For Bangladeshi users dealing with load shedding, this is a genuine lifesaver. Even a 15-minute charge gives you enough juice for an hour of work.

The USB-C PD ports support 140W charging — enough for productivity and light creative work without the main brick. Thermally, the Pro 7i’s cooling system is engineered for sustained 175W GPU loads. It gets warm and loud under full stress, but it doesn’t throttle. That’s the difference between a flagship and a pretender.
